Cruella

Cruella DeHen, Cruella DeHen, I'm the sassiest chick in the whole chicken pen. I'm one of the original six - all of whom were named after Disney Villainesses. My sisters Queen, Yzma, Ursula, Maleficent, and I were supposed to be "just four backyard chickens" but somehow we turned into "I dunno... around 20?" I'm a leghorn, and I'm considered a production layer. I am good for around 280-300 eggs a year, although, I'm an overachiever and I'm pretty sure my mama got pretty close to an egg every single day my first year! (Although, I did slack a bit this winter, so I've evened my numbers out)

We tend to be the stereotypical hen in cartoons. White chicken, yellow feet, red comb, white eggs. While it's never polite to ask a young lady what she weighs, we tend to come in around a dainty 5lbs, and have beautiful large white eggs. And I'm a giver - I have no real interest in raising my own babies, so you don't really have to worry about me going broody! What can I say, I'm a real catch!
